Julie Addison J.D. 2010 Assistant U.S. Attorney, U.S. Department of Justice - United States Attorney’s Office Julie Howell Addison is an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Mississippi in the Criminal Division, where she represents the United States Department of Justice in prosecutions for violations of federal law. Addison has exclusively worked in public service following her graduation with honors from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2010. She was the judicial law clerk to two United States District Judges and a United States Magistrate Judge. Addison previously served for six years as Assistant District Attorney for the Third Circuit Court District, prosecuting hundreds of felony cases on behalf of victims in the State of Mississippi. She is currently a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Mississippi School of Law. Addison is passionate about giving to her community and serves several non-profits, including Junior Auxiliary and the Boards of CASA of North Mississippi and Thacker Mountain Radio Hour. A lifelong Mississippian, she resides in Oxford with her husband, John Patrick Addison, their two-year old daughter and two four-legged children, Franklin and Peggy. Casey Butts J.D. 2007 Associate General Counsel, Sanderson Farms, Inc. Casey Lampkin Butts, CPA, Esq. comes from a prestigious family of Ole Miss alumni, including his great-grandfather, Chancellor Alfred Benjamin Butts (1935-1946) and father, Lampkin Butts, President of Ole Miss Alumni Association (2020-2021). Butts graduated cum laude with an Accounting degree in 2004, where he was one of ten seniors inducted into the Ole Miss Hall of Fame and one of five seniors chosen as Class Favorite. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi Law School in 2007, where he was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal and earned multiple AmJur awards, which are awarded to the law student who made the highest grade in a particular class. Butts spent six years practicing law before being recruited to work for Sanderson Farms, Inc. in 2014. At Sanderson Farms, Butts was asked to get his hands dirty and learn operations in both live production and processing. He was subsequently promoted to Division Manager of Moultrie Processing and then Corporate Processing Manager, where he oversaw operations of multiple processing plants out of the corporate office. In March of 2020, Butts was named Staff Attorney, where he learned all of the support departments that report directly to the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Chief Legal Officer. In February of 2022, he was named Associate General Counsel, where he provides legal advice, counsel, representation and support to departments within Sanderson Farms. Butts is licensed to practice law in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi, and he is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.     25
