EMERGING LEADERS PROJECT
COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FOR MISSISSIPPI, JPS PARTNERS IN EDUCATION Members in the Emerging Leaders program organize, review, and evaluate classroom grant proposals and award grants to teachers, host a reception for winning teachers and principals, and visit schools to evaluate the use of grant funds.

The Provisional Steering Committee hosted this year's Super Saturday meeting on August 1 in a new virtual format. Provisional members learned about the League's Legacy, Placement process, Fund Development opportunities, and our League's impact on our Community. They were also introduced to Where Hope Grows, a healthy food initiative and their project for the League year. Following an introductory webinar, a Provisional Parade was held at JLJ Headquarters following COVID-19 safety protocols. Provisional Steering Committee members were able to wave, welcome, and interact
with Provisionals from a safe distance. Over the course of the 2020-2021 League year, Provisionals continued to learn more about the Junior League of Jackson and its powerful impact on the greater Jackson community.
