 TOUCH A TRUCK®
          JACKSON
     MARCH 27, 2021
Although this year presented many challenges in planning a typical hands-on event, volunteers and exhibitors developed creative solutions that allowed guests to safely participate in this beloved community event, which is now in its eighth year.
To protect the public, exhibitors, sponsors, and volunteers, Touch A Truck® Jackson 2021 was held virtually by offering a free educational video that allowed children to see and experience the signature exhibits like never before. Viewers streamed the video of our new STEM activities and took virtual tours of various vehicles—from dump trucks to fire trucks and even storm chasers!
TAT21 kicked off with a virtual Field Trip Friday on March 26. Our free FTF video was made available to educators state-wide via the JLJ YouTube channel. The video allowed students to get up close and personal with the operators and vehicles that keep our world turning behind the wheel. The public event was held virtually on Saturday, March 27, in a similar
fashion, with a free video made available on the JLJ YouTube channel. Reimagining the hands-on experience of Touch A Truck® Jackson, STEM kits, including five projects and other fun surprises, were offered as an upgrade to the free video. Volunteers provided kit pick-up opportunities before the Saturday morning video launch.

The Keystone Fund serves as the keystone
for Junior League of Jackson projects yet to come, and is something to build upon for the future – it ensures that permanent funding exists to support the League’s work. The ultimate objective of the Keystone Fund is to grow a fund that will be substantial enough
to help support the League in the event of a decline in sponsorships or a shortfall in its fund development businesses.
The Junior League of Jackson hopes to steadily grow the Keystone Fund through tax-deductible donations and tax-wise planned giving, including gifts made to the Keystone Fund through wills and estate planning. While certain giving levels have been designated for special recognition, there is no minimum donation. Gifts of any size are welcomed and appreciated!
